I can't save my .psd file as a .png file

I just created a .psd file, and for some reason I'm not getting an option to save it as .png. I have CS5. In case it makes a difference, the file contains:

Three photos that were originally .jpgs, one transformed with "skew."

Text that has been transformed with "rotate."

The mode is CMYK color with 8 bits.

What's going on?

Yes! Now that you mention it, I normally use RGB; not sure how it became CMYK. Not only can I save it as a .png now, but as soon as I made it RGB, it looked better, too!

Great.  As a note, if you really need CMYK work in RGB and convert as last step.  Be aware there is no exact color transfer process.  Very few print shops require CMYK now.
