Why am I required to allow connection to hammer.behance?

Every time I start the machine lately, I get a popup window that wants me to permit connection to "hammer.behance". I denied that connection and then couldn't download updates to creative cloud programs that I use on a daily basis.

My understanding of behance is that it is some sort of self promotion gimmick. I DON"T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT !  and never will.

After I tried unsuccessfully to download the updates several times, I discovered that the only way I could get the downloads was to allow the connection.

Let me be clear, I do not trust ANY company including ADOBE with gratuitous access to my machine.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM SEEMS TO THINK IT"S OK TO DATA MINE ON MY PRIVATE PROPERTY (MY COMPUTER) WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

The ONLY BASIS I want to allow ANYONE, including my fairy godmother, GRATUITOUS ACCESS, is to perform legitimate updates to software I PAID FOR AND NOTHING ELSE !!!

People who use Self Promotion & Social Media outlets are BEGGING TO BE RIPPED OFF. I want nothing to do with any of it.

ADOBE listen up, I was an early adopter of Creative Cloud BUT I WILL CEASE TO USE IT IF YOU INSIST ON FORCING ME TO ALLOW YOU GRATUITOUS ACCESS FOR SELF PROMOTION REASONS THAT I DO NOT WANT.

Finally, behance is not even a real word, it's a fool's utterance trying to be "COOL", what complete rubbish & grow up please.
