Liam Dilley Sep 16, 2013 2:26 PM (in response to CWLeary27)Most CMS's do not, word press does not even have eCommerce and has to be plugged in and then most of those do not have a google feed by default. Joomla does not have it as standard, shopify does not have it as standard till recently I think.....
What are you asking here? What problems do you have with the eCommerce and what you asking here?

CWLeary27 Sep 17, 2013 8:10 AM (in response to Liam Dilley)My question is, why doesn't Business Catalyst? I feel like an Adobe product should be top of the line in terms of functionality. Our competitors are killing us on SEO and I feel like we're limited because of our CMS. It's unreasonable to assume that every single BC client is managing their day-to-day SEO and e-comm through a partner/designer. Do you not agree that a product feed that is Google compatible would be a huge advantage for BC users?

Liam Dilley Sep 17, 2013 3:42 PM (in response to CWLeary27)It is not a feature requested often, I have probably seen 4 to 6 people ask for it in 4/5 years.
Does not mean you can not use the API to form a feed up yourself but its just one of those features that does not get the most gains, they are busy working on more populare requested features.
Be nice to have, your not wrong but its not high up on th list.

Liam Dilley May 27, 2014 2:00 AM (in response to serenityjane)We are just testing with a few clients our App for this with BC.
Google has been cracking down on things like its Taxonomy so we had to make some adjustments to it. It should be out in a few weeks.

There is some setup in terms of sorting products for google to be happy and also setting up the google side of things. Pretty are registered google partners so we can also quote time to help set all this up as well for you.

TheBCMan Jun 30, 2014 4:30 PM (in response to CWLeary27)A little late to the party but it's quite straight forward to do. To automate it API sync to your products, get the quality, photos and everything, you sync the products every 10 days or go with google, I've done it for a few sites.
You need A TON of information to submit to google, for example bar codes, product ID's, manufacture names, very very detailed. More than 50% of the work is getting the all product information sorted out.
