Flash Player 11.8 Will Not Install

When trying to install the Adobe Flash Player 11.8 with the MSI I get a 1722 error, then I try installing it with the .exe and it will install but errors out during registering the ActiveX controls. I removed the Reg keys noted in the Adobe forum, but I still have the same issue. The problem is that it installs on some computers and not others. It doesn't matter whether it is a workstation or a laptop, XP or 7, 32 or 64, or the version of IE we are running.

It seems to be centered around McAfee not Adobe. The McAfee agent installed on the workstations is stopping the activex from being registered. I removed it and it installed perfectly from the MSI and the .exe
