I've tried all the suggestion for enabling script, managing add-ons, uninstalling old versions of player.  When I try to install adobe flash player, it downloads the file and tried to install the program.  When it is finished it shows a window that says that the player wasn't successfully installed.  I tried download the install file by using "run" but that had the same results.  I checked to see if the program was in the add remove control center.  It wasn't listed.  I rebooted the system and tried several times to install the program, no luck, same message at the end of the install process, not installed.

Try the offline installers:

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

If that also fails, can you post the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash

I don't know why it's working now but. An update window appeared on the

monitor for Adobe Flash Player. I clicked the button on the window to

update the file. It went through a download then install. After that the

flash player started working. Thank you for sending the links. I'll copy

them to a folder for any future needs.

I saved the file from micromedia. That should fix any future problems.

Thank you
