I have tried several times to download and install flash player.
Every time when it gets to 7% it says that the connection is lost. I have tried to solve the problem and once I succeeded and was able to download. But then it said that a newer version is already installed. But I can´t find any version of Adobe flash player.
What can I do?

Download Flash Player uninstaller from here : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
You need to click on "uninstaller"
Save the uninstaller, close all the browser windows.
Run the uninstaller.
Once uninstallation is complete, run the installer you downloaded or download it from here : http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
Thanks,
Vikram

You write "download", but did you also install it?

Maybe you need to explain exactly what "doesn't work" means.

Hi,
I am having the same problem as Stefraga and was hoping for some help:
I have tried several times to install flash player. Every time when it gets to 7% it says that the connection is lost. I have already installed the "uninstaller" and have installed flash from my laptop. I want to install it again but it won't get 7%. I even tried the link in the solution forums for manually installing but i get this message when i try to ope and run the program:
C:\User\downloads\install_flash_player.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
my system is Windows 64-bit , English, Firefox.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Disable your antivirus and/or firewall temporarily.
Download the following file by right clicking and selecting "Save Link as".
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Save the file to your Downloads folder - DO NOT RUN anything yet.
Reboot your system.
BEFORE opening anything else, go to your Downloads folder and run the Flash Player Installer.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your quick response. I tried what you said but everytime i try to run the file from downloads i still get the same message: C:\User\downloads\install_flash_player.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
Any other suggestions?

"not a valid Win32 application" means something didn't download with the file.
Files have three parts:
A header or "lead in" which identifies the file name, its size and type.
The file itself.
A tail or "lead out" which has code indicating the end of the file.
If either the lead in or lead out are missing or corrupted (which antivirus or firewall can cause) then you see the "not a valid Win32 application" message.
If you have a thumb drive and can connect somewhere besides your home PC, download the installer from the above link and save it to the thumb drive. Then, when you get home, run it from the thumb drive.

it takes a while to download after the download is done that box you just clicked on will turn red.......then you will not get that message anymore when you click on it a box will come up and accept run and go on with the rest of the process
