Initially, the error was that it could not complete the download because Explorer was open.  I restarted my computer.  Same error.  So, I unintalled and tried to reinstall.  Now I'm getting the message that it already exists, which according to my Programs screen, it is not installed at least not completely.  How to I correct this issue and install Flash Player??????

Download the  Flash Player uninstaller

Save it to your downloads folder - DO NOT run it yet.

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the following link and selecting "Save Target as".

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Save the file to your downloads folder. DO NOT run it yet.

Reboot your system.

BEFORE running anything else, locate and run the uninstaller to completely remove Flash Player and then, run the installer to replace Flash Player.

This is getting very frustrating. I performed the tasks in the email below

exactly as specified. I did not see a pop-up window indicating that the

installation completed. However, when I look at the list of programs on my

computer, Flash Player is listed? I'm still having issues. When I try to

access a site that uses Flash Player, this is what I get. It looks to me

like the app is not installed or partially installed???

This is what my applications list looks like
