adjusting jpeg quality in publish settings alters tweens with photos

I have created an ad in Flash CS4 AS 2.0

There is an imported png photo image that I tweened to fade in and out in the content of the ad.

My problem arises when I try to optimize the quality of the image in Publish Settings under the Flash Settings. I increased the jpeg quality from 80 (default??) to a higher number - for instance 87.

I publish the new file and when I test out the html file in a browser, the fades that I created in the ad have been (replaced?) by the photo image suddenly appearing (jumping in) and suddenly dissapearing (jumping out) of the ad with all the fade tweens dissapearing.

I reset the jpeg quality in the publish settings ( back to 80) and this did not fix the problem. Fortunately  I just reverted the ad and redid the minor edits that I had to make to the ad.

This has happened to other projects that I have worked on but these did revert back to the animation that I intended by resetting the jpeg quality back to original settings.

      Any thoughts

      Thanks in advance
