Still learning Premiere Pro (CS6 in this case). I'm getting pretty good at it, but sometimes I want to export in mpeg2. Yet I can't find an mpeg2 setting in the Export window. Can anyone help?

Yes, I know. That looks exactly like my export choices, except the MPEG2 choices are not there. Now, this is the trial version. Would that make a difference?

It shouldn't.

The trial should be fully functional and updatable.

The most current version of CS6 is CS6.0.5.

Yes. Back in time, the trial versions did have some things omitted, and MPEG-2 was one. That changed, however, with CS 5, which was fully functional. Trial should not make a difference with CS 5, and later.

Okay, I installed the 6.0.5 update, but still no mpeg2 export. Here's an image of the export window...........

Hope it can be seen! I suppose I could reinstall Premiere to see if that works, but this one is a trial so it may not re-install. Any other ideas?

Did you read the FAQ link in post 3?

note:

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

but I think you can do a re-install of the trial,

you just won't get another new 30 day period.

Yes, I read it. Still not sure why it doesn't show. I'll try a reinstall and see what happens.

Okay, I reinstalled CS6, updated to 6.0.5 and still no mpeg2 export. So, anyone know of an external vender mpeg2 codec I can use?
