cirrusbonsai Jul 1, 2012 10:16 AM (in response to Barbara B.)I have the same problem. On my Mac, running OSX 10.7.4
I recently migrated everything over from Snow Leopard, and I got this error message, relating to the license.
Elements 6 still works, but 8 isn't happy.
I'm wondering if I need to delete the file that contains the license, and re-enter it? -

acannon828 Sep 15, 2014 12:43 PM (in response to photodrawken)Is there an updated LicenseRecovery Tool? The one you linked to isn't compatible with Mac OS X 10.8+ apparently...trying to launch it gives a "PowerPC applications are no longer supported" error message.

L_B_ Oct 6, 2014 2:09 PM (in response to acannon828)Unfortunately, Adobe just doesn't seem to care about individuals any more. They have been ignoring this problem since at least 2008 and refuse to post an updated LicenseRecoveryTool that will run on a current Mac. I've been waiting. Adobe was built on the backs of individuals who helped convince corporations to adopt their tools and technology. They've completely forgotten that ... or at least that's the way it looks from here. Come on, Adobe. Step up and fix this problem. Or, make it affordable for individuals to upgrade. You used to be better than this.
