John T Smith Sep 28, 2013 8:40 AM (in response to msp7413)What is your nVidia driver version?
Right click in any open area of the Windows desktop
Select NVIDIA Control Panel from the popup window
Select SYSTEM INFORMATION at the lower left corner
Driver version should be the 1st line in Details
I have a GTX285 using driver 296.10 and Win7

JSS1138 Sep 29, 2013 3:59 PM (in response to msp7413)This does sound like a GPU problem. Maybe the card itself is going bad.

John T Smith Sep 29, 2013 6:50 PM (in response to msp7413)There were some reports of probems with the 320xxx series of drivers in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1259391 with the solution being a rollback to 311xxx... but I don't remember any mention of 305xxx problems

msp7413 Sep 29, 2013 6:56 PM (in response to JSS1138)Is there a way to test to see if it is a GPU problem? I haven't even had the computer a year yet! I am not getting any errors from the card either. My wife has used the computer to play video games on it as well and had no issues either.
I have tried to go back and restore the computer to an earlier configuration but for some reason I could only go back a month. I am thinking I may have to wipe the computer clean and reinstall windows and then CS6 again.

Is that a laptop? (I don't know every brand & model computer)
Does the laptop also have a graphics chip on the motherboard?
Is there a way to remove the nVidia?
Is there a Toshiba certfied service center near you?

That's not a good sign. I've seen where having games installed on an edit rig has interfered with Adobe software. Ideally you should be using the Premiere Pro machine only for editing, and use a second computer for everything else.

9. Re: I have Production Premium CS6 and am having issues seeing video and pictures.
msp7413 Sep 29, 2013 8:06 PM (in response to John T Smith)Yes, it is a laptop and there is Integrated graphics (I believe its Intel 4000).
Not sure if I could remove the nVidia, as I am not familiar with breaking open a laptop and making changes like I could a desktop.
I would have to see if there is a service center near me.
If I could remove the card (I have friend that works on computers and may be able to do this), what would I be looking for?

10. Re: I have Production Premium CS6 and am having issues seeing video and pictures.
John T Smith Sep 29, 2013 8:11 PM (in response to msp7413)If you could remove the card without destroying the laptop, you would then be able to see if the integrated Intel chip works
Do you currently have the Intel chip turned off in the BIOS... or are you using the switchable graphics feature?
If you ARE using switchable graphics, that MAY be your problem
Dual video laptop problems... ignore this if you have the Intel chip turned off in BIOS

msp7413 Sep 29, 2013 8:57 PM (in response to John T Smith)I have tried going thru the NVIDIA control panel and switching everything strictly to that graphics card.(didn't do anything) I am not too familiar with the bios menu, but I took a look anyhow and didn't see specifically where to switch off the Intel Graphics card.
Would any of this explain why everything thing worked fine for a few months and then started going down hill? Not to mention, I'm not sure how this affects photoshop not showing me pictures that I am opening.

avanishdivya Sep 29, 2013 9:08 PM (in response to msp7413)Hi, please go to this link & update the drivers for your Nvidia Graphic Card http://www.geforce.com/drivers
The driver version you have there on your machine seems to be obsolete.
Also intsall the latest drivers for the Intel 400 Graphic card from this link https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22842&lang=eng&OSVersion=W indows%207%20Home%20Premium%2C%2064-bit%20version*&DownloadType=Drivers
After installing the drivers, please reboot the machine & check the performance in Premiere Pro.
