What is the difference between ActiveX 11.8.800.175 and the plug-in version? How do get and install the plug-in version?
Hello,
Welcome to Adobe Forums.
Adobe Flash Player works as an ActiveX is for Internet Exploer and Plug-in for Other browsers (Mozilla Firefox)
To install plug-in you need to launch the other browser and open http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
Thanks,
Vikram

Thank you for your answer. So if I am running ActiveX with Explorer, it is the same thing as running the Plug-in version.

ActiveX IS a plugin version.
There are Two (2) Flash Players for Windows (3 if you count Google Chrome's embedded version) because Internet Exploder needs one that works with the (circa 1993) ActiveX controls IE still uses 20 years later and thirteen years after everyone else abandoned them.
Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking one of the following links.
