Why am I getting three, 11.8, downloads of the same “Adobe Flash Player”?
Moving actual question up into title message for this thread
Sorry, I'm not on your computer and I don't have access to it. I could make a million guesses, and probably be wrong on all of them. Run a thorough virus scan to check for malware. If you need, download Kaspersky's TDSSKiller. http://support.kaspersky.com/us/5350 It's free and it finds a lot of stuff other A/V software won't.

You are not telling us anything; from where are you getting such "requests"?

If I am emailing Adobe then that’s where it came from.
In order to provide help as quickly as possible, please put the following information into your post:
* Your operating system & version Win 7
* Your web browser(s) & version IE 10
* Your Flash Player version you having problems with 11.8
* Explain your problem in details; don't use meaningless words like "can't", "cannot", "unable", "won't work" 11.8 has downloaded at least three times why?
* If you get error messages, please quote them exactly, or provide a screenshot: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1070933 No error message.

Pay close attention:
If you're using Windows 7 YOU CAN'T USE APPLE FLASH PLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!
Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking one of the following links. DO NOT run it - SAVE it!!!
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Reboot your system.
BEFORE you open anything else, locate and run the appropriate installer.

Wonderful. Why is Adobe sending it to me?? It’s sure in my computer per your below link. What do you suggest?

Could be malware. Adobe doesn't send update requests. Your software is designed to check for updates and notify you when they're available, but they don't actively push them.

If that was the case why has it tried to download for the last three nights and I did down load it before with no problem.

Nope not Malware, request you check the server and see what’s going on.

1. Neither I nor anyone here runs the servers.
2. Adobe HAS NO SERVERS that 'send out' download prompts.

OK whom do I contact to have this procedure taken care of?

I wouldn't know, since the problem is stemming from within your system. As I said, Adobe servers DO NOT proactively push updates. Your software checks for them and you can disable that in the Global settings, but nothing on Adobe's end is causing the popups.

Can you post a screenshot of such a "request" to download Flash Player?
Since you keep mentioning "Apple Flash Player", this is a strong indication of malware on your system.

If I get another one will do.
