Flash Player (for IE) is embedded by Microsoft. It updates via Windows Update. They released a Flash Player update for IE10 (Win 8) a week ago today. If you haven't already run it, do the Windows Update. If it gives you troubles, there's a link to the "offline updater" here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2889543
