Petr_Er Oct 8, 2013 6:12 AM (in response to shooternz)tried it tonight, didn't work out for too long. Fell asleep on the keyboard, puter went to sleep afterwards. Any other solution?
Could you try if you get the same issue with second monitor and hibernation mode in Windows7 using PP CS6?

Petr_Er Oct 8, 2013 7:06 AM (in response to cc_merchant)Thank you for this link. It is good to know, but I am still wondering why hibernation was possible in CS5.5 without a problem and in CS6 it's not. Otherwise Adobe should put up a warning saying never use PP with hibernation.

I don't know any details (other than CS6 introduced an AVCHD bug that it took Adobe over a year to fix) but CS6 was a MAJOR source code rewrite over 5.5

Petr_Er Oct 9, 2013 3:08 AM (in response to John T Smith)Thanks, hope they will fix it.
Are you using PP CS6 with Windows 7? Does it work at you computer?
Mine sometimes work, but most of the time I get an error. -
7. Re: Premere Pro CS6 crashes after PC wakes up from sleep/2nd monitor blocked by preview
Petr_Er Nov 28, 2013 11:08 PM (in response to Petr_Er)Good news: I found out that the crash of PP CS6 after hibernation had something to do with my nVidia card (Quadro 1000M) and if I turned off the Aero function in Windows7 while sill using the Quadro 1000M the crash was gone. I then also had for some reason an error message after PP crashed with Aero turned on saying that there was a problem with nvoglv64.DLL and OpenGL. So I searched the web but didn't find a solution working for me. (Updating all the drivers, Windows and Adobe products did not help)
I then played around with the preferences of the nVidia card and found one setting that solved the crash while Aero still tuned on.
I turned of the "vertical synchronization" (if this is the correct translation of this setting in German). This has something to do with OpenGL and the frame rate of the monitor. Since then it works so far without a crash. I will report if any new Problems will occur.
