For a course to meet minimum SCORM 1.2 requirements "lmsfinish" needs to be sent back to the LMS. Captivate 7 does not send this so the courses we develop won't close properly.

After researching this I've noticed there are many complaints about this over time. Adobe for your application to generate compliant course you need to fix this? Otherwise, SHAME ON YOU!

Hi There,

Welcome To Adobe Forum.

However you can try using SCORM CLOUD as an LMS to upload the published output.

Can you please try and upload the published output to an LMS called SCORM CLOUD.

You can create a free trial account on scorm cloud using the following steps:

  1. Browse to  the link https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/guest/SignUpForm
  2. Now Create your free trial account.
  3. Now publish the output in a zip format (in the form of SWF with reporting option enable and choose “Scorm” from the option)
  4. Now sign in into scorm cloud and upload the course and launch the output.

Please check the result and let us know if it works fine.

Thanks and Regards

Loveesh
