I have been able to view videos but recently, I have received error messages to download flash player 11.  I go the the Adobe download site, click install now and run.  The installation begins and then I get an error message to close Internet Explorer.  I close the site and get into a feedback loop where it keeps saying to close ane retry.  I have gone through all the trouble shooting screens and the Internet tool options, security options etc, are correct.  When I go to manage add-ons shockplayer is listed and status is enabled.  How can I resolve this and download flash player.

Easiest way to do this is:
Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the following link and choosing "Save Target as".

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Save it to your downloads folder - DO NOT run it yet!

Reboot your system.

BEFORE you open anything else, locate and run the installer.

If it still gives you trouble, see: Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer  and:ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer  for further steps.
