I downloaded the installer for Flash Player from the Adobe website. When running the installer, I get the message "Do you wish to allow the following program to make changes to your computer?" I click yes. Nothing happens; no error, the installer just stops. The same thing happens with Adobe Reader and Google Chrome. Other programs (Microsoft Office, Mozilla Firefox, iTunes among others) have installed without issue. I have upgraded from Win8 to 8.1, and reinstalling these programs is a necessity! Please help!

Try the offline installer:

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

(Flash Player for Internet Explorer is already preinstalled on Windows 8.x)

For Adobe Reader: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
