ryclark Oct 4, 2013 3:48 PM (in response to George Lea)It very much depends on your audio interface and the drivers that you are using.

George Lea Oct 4, 2013 4:46 PM (in response to ryclark)Of course, I they're the latest. They also work fine in WaveEdit mode. Besides, I already said everything is fine on 3 other DAW's.

Cubed Root Sound Oct 11, 2013 6:16 AM (in response to George Lea)I've noted that third-party plug-ins impact latency in multi-track mode. Audition seems to work with them differently than some other DAWs. What are the specifics on your system, session, and what are the other three DAWs? And are you running third-party plug-ins? Which ones? Are they applied identically in all four sessions? Many latency issues have to do with your hard drive as well. You may wanna check your temp folder settings in preferences.

George Lea Oct 11, 2013 6:47 AM (in response to Cubed Root Sound)Thanks Cube,
It would help if Adobe provided a means giving a profile signature, like all other tech forums I visit lets me create a signature so all readers can see what I have.
However, to answer your question...I'm not using any 3rd party plugins in that instance. I record all of my takes pure raw, then add FX. I use a SSD for my OS, and apps, and a WD eSATA 1 Tbyte that are divided into several different partitions for my work files. My Temp folders are located in 2 different partitions with 200Meg dedicated to both. I just upgraded from Audition 1.5, and I never had these issues.
