flashplayer installation

hi

i am having issues when installing adobe flashplayer for my mac running on version 10.8.4. even once i had completed all of the installation when using the web it still says that flashplayer needs to be installed. please help. i have tried uninstalling and re-installing but no change.

Have you run the 10.8.5 update as well as the supplemental update?
