Websites tell me adobe Flash is not installed, but it is installed, and the Shockwave add-on is enabled in Firefox. I did uninstall and then reinstall Flash recently, could this have left junk in my registry?

Thanks -

Download the Flash Player uninstaller and run it.

Then,

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers) and selecting "Save Link as".

Save the file to your downloads folder.

Reboot and before opening anything, run the installer.

Flash Player should be fully up to date.
