1. Re: Can't log into CC after Mac 10.7.1 update
Arpit Kapoor Oct 11, 2013 9:49 AM (in response to derobinson)derobinson, I would suggest uninstalling the existing CC desktop app from Applications > Adobe Creative Cloud > Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud and then re-install it again from the CC website.
Check if this helps. http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-cc-installation-download.html
Let me know in case of any issues.
Cheers!

2. Re: Can't log into CC after Mac 10.7.1 update
derobinson Oct 11, 2013 11:22 AM (in response to Arpit Kapoor)Hello Arpit!
Already tried uninstalling/re-installing the CC Desktop app. Still no good.
Everything was working fine prior to the OS upgrade and/or the password re-set stuff.
I've re-booted. Repaired permissions. Even zapped the PRAM. CC Desktop app still shows a blank screen and trying to open any app asks for login that fails with that cryptic error message.
Thanks for jumping on this! Looks like I'm no tthe only one its happening to!

4. Re: Can't log into CC after Mac 10.7.1 update
Arpit Kapoor Oct 14, 2013 8:27 AM (in response to derobinson)David, could you please attach the error screenshot for further research.
As per the discussion heading you have installed 10.7.1 update. So, try to update it to 10.7.4 and then check. Rather install all the software updates.
Quit and re-launch CC desktop app and check.
Let me know how it goes.

derobinson Oct 14, 2013 9:52 AM (in response to Arpit Kapoor)Arpit--
Attached are screen shots of by CC Desktop app and the error message I get after trying to authenticate when opening any CC app (Photoshop in this case).
Also, I was being dumb...I'm running the very latest versions of OS X (was loking at the listings for "MacOS X Updates" in stead of further down the installation list at "OS X Udates). The update last week was the "OS X v10.8.5 Supplemental Update" that I installed on 10/10. As I think I mentioned...I updated on my laptop as well and can still access my CC apps there...I'm not sure I've logged out of CC and back in since the whole password thing though.

wiseguy79 Oct 21, 2013 2:11 PM (in response to derobinson)DId you have to delete the folder and then reinstall the apps?
I deleted the folder and now when I launch any program it tells me that i need to reinstall the Adobe Application Manager.
Just curious as to any additional steps.

8. Re: Can't log into CC after Mac 10.7.1 update
derobinson Oct 21, 2013 2:15 PM (in response to wiseguy79)No. I deleted the folder and restarted the Creative Clound desktop app. That logged in fine. I haven't had to re-install things, but as I've opened CC apps (PS, etc), each has asked me to agree to terms and sometimes authenticate them again as if I'd never used them before.
Hope that helps!

9. Re: Can't log into CC after Mac 10.7.1 update
wiseguy79 Oct 21, 2013 2:45 PM (in response to derobinson)So here is what helped me:
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder- Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
- Launch Creative Cloud
The key being the /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder and not the main /Library/ folder.
I found it here :
