I can't edit any topic in any of my projects. I click them and nothing happens. It worked fine yesterday.

Need a little more info to help you – is there source control at work here? What version of RH? What o/s are you running?

Don’t know what you mean by “source control”. RH8 8.02.208. XP

Best practices dictate that they should be in c:\projects\[project_name]\
Do you have full admin rights to the project folder & files? Have you confirmed that the topics haven’t become “read-only”?

Tech Services just confirmed I have full admin rights. Folders are not read-only.
Yesterday when I shut the project down I did it from the minus key in the upper right hand corner of the screen instead of using EXIT from RH. Did I blow it up?
Sorry, long day. I used the X Close key, not minimize.

That would have just minimized it, not shut it down – you may have damaged it when you powered off. Try deleting the CPD file and reopening the project.

OK, but it’s not just the topic I was working on. It’s all 20 of them.

Hi Thomas
Try this. In RoboHelp, click Tools > Options > Association. Ensure that Use Default Editor is selected and that Design View <Internal> is selected.

Woo Hoo! Houston, we have lift off. Use Default Editor was not selected. I’m in. How did I manage to do this? I’ve never been on that screen.
Anyway, thanks again for all your help!

No go. Deleted CPD, reopened project and cannot edit topics.

Sounds like you may have to go back to a backup :<(

If you go the the Project Manager pod and expand the HTML Files (topics) folder, are there x's indicating the link to the html files are missing?
Just a thought...
