You deleted the "mach_kernel" file that was made visible by the 10.8.5 update.

Three options:

1. Reinstall OS 10.8

2. Go to: http://www.apple.com.osx before midnight and download OS 10.9 FOR FREE and the upgrade will solve this for you.

3. If you have a "Time Machine" for your Mac, there are steps here to restore the mach_kernel file from a backup: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5772637#5772637
