flash player installtion issues

I've been trying to download Flash Player.  At 50% installation error pops up and says close internet explorere to continue.  It is closed and will not continue downloading.

Download the following files by right clicking and selecting "Save target as":

Flash Player Uninstaller

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

Save ALL files to your downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.

Reboot your system.

BEFORE opening anything else, run the UNINSTALLER from your downoads folder.

Next run the Flash Player for ActiveX installer, and lastly, if you use any other browser, run the Flash Player Plug-in installer.
