Hi everyone,

I'm trying to convert (or re-write) document that is in MS Word format to FrameMaker (FM).

I will be using FrameMaker 10, and the original word file is about 40MB (in docx).

My question is, what is the maximum output file size supported by FrameMaker 10 (and other versions)?

The maximum filesize and page count of PDF would be necessary.

Thank you.

What platform?

If Windows 32-bit, you may encounter a 2 or 4 GB limit on final PDF size, and transient temporary PostScript file size.

I’ve never heard of any limit – other than those imposed by your computer – like Error7103 says

There are some, but I doubt if any are germane to an import from Word.

Found this. Don't know how current it is:

Known limits and special properties
