Hello,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

1) Launch Task Manager (Keyboard Shortcut : Ctrl+Shift+Esc)

2) Go to Processes Tab

3) Make sure you have clicked on "Show processes from all users"

4) Kill "iexplore.exe" process

Thanks,

Vikram

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the following link and selecting "Save target as".

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Save the file to your downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.

Reboot your system.

BEFORE opening anything else, run the installer from your downloads folder.

Thank you CF McBlob.  I attempted the link, with no luck, but after a few days, I discovered it was indeed an Active X

problem, although I kept getting the open IE Windows error.  I have disabled Active X on trusted sites for video and all is working fine.
