help with install

Installed flash player version 11.9.  Went through all three steps, apeared to be a complete install.  When trying to use flash player get message to install new version?  Can't play any games or watch any video that requires flash player.

I am having the same issue.

• Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
• Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16721
• Flash Player version 11.9.900.117
• Explain your problem in details: Most recent version installed but when viewing a video still says to install.  I have done everything explained in the FAQs and I am still experiencing the error.
• If you get error messages, please quote them exactly, or provide a screenshot:

It appears that you have only the Flash Player plugin installed; you also need the ActiveX version for Internet Explorer:

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
