Presenter 9 won't install because of previous or prerelease version of Presenter 9?

I currently have Presenter 8 installed.

Any ideas?

I'm attempting to install it in a Parallels virtual machine with windows 7, 32bit.

Hello,

Adobe Presenter does not co-exist. It means if you have Presenter 8 installed, it wont install Presenter 9.

Hence kindly uninstall Presenter 8 and then install Presenter 9.

I suppose the wording of the error message is not clear.

I HAD version 7 previously installed and I HAVE uninstalled it on Windows 7 Pro. It's gone - there's no sign of it in the Registry, the disk, and it's no longer listed in the Control Panel's list of software.

And YET I get that same error message when I attempt to install Presenter 9.

So, what's occurring?
