Thanks for your reply
There is only 1 account on the PC, administrator and I always use that, always have.
If I have to create a new account specifcally for PPro CC, i dont want to have to relogin as administrator when i use my other apps
What I am looking for is for Adobe to let me know what it thinks the documents folder is so it can be checked/amended
I have tried uninstalling PP and reinstalling but no difference
Something has happened and i dont know what

6. Re: Error starting Premiere Pro CC
JSS1138 Oct 25, 2013 8:46 PM (in response to cjacs987654)The new account was primarily for testing. If it works, then we know something went wonky with the current account, and the solution would be to create a new one for everything and delete the old (current) account.

cjacs987654 Oct 28, 2013 3:37 PM (in response to JSS1138)Hi Jim
Thanks again for your reply
I have created a new account, and premiere opens ok with that, so it sounds like something account related as you suggested
What i really want to do is fix the original problem. The thought of setting up a new account with the various settings I have for both adobe and non-adobe apps is a bit to much
If anyone from Adobe can reply please, what has happened here?
I get the same problem if I try to install adobe reader 11. compaining invalid drive Z error 1327. Somewhere in deep down adobe it is looking for something on drive Z (i am assuming
this is the same location problem as premiere)
I have tried doing a subst z: to c: but that makes no difference
HOW do i change this????
Also, does CC membership entitle you to Adobe support?

JSS1138 Oct 28, 2013 5:11 PM (in response to cjacs987654)Adobe offers paid support, but I don't know if that would cover fixing errors with your Windows installation. You may have to get on the horn with Microsoft for that one. I think they charge about $35/incident.
