Edge Animate soft crashes every minute or so. Please help

I work on CC on my work P.C. Windows 7 64bit and when I try to use Edge Animate it soft crashes evey minute or so. I will get the "program not responding" and then it will pop back on for another minute and repeat. I don't have this problem on my home computer and I use the same O.S. Would this have anything to do with possible filters that are on my work network. They have a lot of them. But i'm able to use other products in the subscription with no problems. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Not sure, I’m trying to get the I.T dept. to bypass me through the firewall to see if that will help.
