Our Support got an issue involving JavaScript from a client. Apparently when users attempt to search in webhelp, a JavaScript error is displayed. The Search works fine when accessed on the application server, but not when accessed from client machines.
The JavaScript error is:

I also found these similar issues listed but don't understand well enough to recognize if either contains a definite answer.

Willam’s the expert here – it’s probably something to do with Chromeframe – it’s a plug in for IE browsers. Try having the client strip out all Google toolbars etc. from their browser and test that.

Great, thanks so much. I’ll pass this on to our Support person on this case.

Probably chromeframe as Jeff suggested. There are a few posts and possible solutions on the forum and Peter's site (www.graing.org).
The search JavaScript is rather complicated. So I would not start digging unless it's completely necessary. It's very easy to break it.
