2. Re: Actobat X1 will not re-install
jen@deakin Oct 28, 2013 6:53 PM (in response to Ashubijalwan1)I tried that – as per my post – It says it is already installed therefore I cannot reinstall what it thinks is already there!
However I have solved the problem by using the Cleanup tool mentioned in a similar post. This removed all remnants of Acrobat X1 the uninstaller had left behind and when I re-launced the Creative Cloud App it immediately started to download and install Acrobat X1 again.
Thank you for your reply anyway.
Jen.

3. Re: Actobat X1 will not re-install
basetwonz Oct 28, 2013 8:24 PM (in response to Ashubijalwan1)Same issue. Acrobat XI Pro was crashing repeatedly on start up. Eventually would not open - uninstalled it.
Now when I go into Application Manager, I can not reinstall it, it says that Acrobat is 'up to date'... but the application is not even on my Mac any more (OS X 10.6.8).
Also, I can't get the CC Desktop App to even install - it won't get past Adobe App Manager, that opens up and installation seems to falter.
Need help. Need Acrobat back fast. I have tried the Cleaner App, but it does not seem to show up any remnants of Acrobat.
