I have windows 8 keeps saying i need to upgrade shockwave

I have upgraded it several times when I get in to it shockwave says I am up to date it will not let me play Farmville 2 and otherss. What do I need to do to fix this.

How did you upgrade?  You need to run Windows Update to update Flash Player.
