Can't install Adobe flash player 11

Just bought new Apple Mac pro. Trying to print music from 'Musicnotes' but need to download Adobe Flashplayer 11. Not installing. To solve this 'Help' is telling me to enable 'java' by clicking on Safari then clicking on preferences, then clicking on security. However I have no enable 'java' in that box, only 'enable javascript' and 'allow plug-ins'. Will enable 'Java' be anywhere else or is there something else I can try?

Flash Player does not require Java.  But JavaScript needs to be enabled to run it.
