no permission

I have a Kobo Touch e-reader.  When I download a book from my local library site to Adobe Digital Editions and then try to down  load it to my e-reader I get a message saying something about no permission.  How can I correct this?

Have you authorized the Kobo?

First make sure ADE is authorized, then with the Kobo plugged in,menu/Help/Authorize Device (menu/Library/Authorize Device on the older less buggy 1.7.2)
