1. Re: XMP panels not showing up in CC
Michael Witherell Oct 16, 2013 3:48 PM (in response to monettevelasco)I don't know, but I cannot get the File Info window to show its content. It does not work on either my Mac IDCC nor my Windows IDCC. On either install, I only see the dialog box window open, and the center is blank white.

David Blatner Nov 4, 2013 10:35 AM (in response to monettevelasco)Is it a Flash problem? The File Info dialog box is created with Flash. Maybe you need an update to the Flash Player on your computer?
I can open the File Info dialog box, but I have not tried any custom xmp panels, sorry.

Steve Werner Nov 4, 2013 10:51 AM (in response to David Blatner)I have no problem with File > File Info dialog box on either on my two Macs. One is on Mountain Lion (Mac OS X 10.8.5), the other on Mavericks (10.9). But I also have no custom XMP panels.
I'd support David's guess about a bad Flash installation.

4. Re: XMP panels not showing up in CC
Michael Witherell Nov 4, 2013 11:39 AM (in response to Steve Werner)Hmmm. I will try to update/remove/reinstall Flash on both my Windows 7 and my Mac Mavericks OS 10.8.x and see if that makes a difference. Thanks David!

5. Re: XMP panels not showing up in CC
monettevelasco Nov 4, 2013 1:32 PM (in response to Michael Witherell)Hmm....I updated my Flash. Using Mac OS 10.8.5. Didn't work. I can open the other File Info Panels and manipulate them, but the second I try to use mine, I get the blank screen and I have to Force Quit out of InDesign cc.
I have no problems using my panels on my PC. This is frustrating, but not sure how to solve it. Obviously I can see the main panel, but just not the actual fields. So I must have it in the correct place.
Other than Flash, any other suggestions? I'll try to ask around. Thanks! -
6. Re: XMP panels not showing up in CC
Steve Werner Nov 4, 2013 1:42 PM (in response to monettevelasco)I did a Google search on XMP custom panels, and this was the best match I could find. See if this is useful. There is an extended discussion about the correct ways to build a custom panel. Having blank panels appear is discussed:
