Bob Bringhurst - Adobe Nov 4, 2013 3:58 PM (in response to dpsCygnus)Newsstand apps must be subscription-based multi-folio apps--either free or retail. For information about building the certficiates and assets required for Newsstand apps, see the DPS publishing companion guide.

Bob Bringhurst - Adobe Nov 5, 2013 8:57 AM (in response to dpsCygnus)No, I'm not aware of any other restrictions. To make an app appear in Newsstand, you need to create a multi-folio subscription app.

I've got a client who insisting they want their app in the Newsstand, but their content is basically an interactive brochure.
It's already been approved for the App Store.
This gives me what I need to explain why it doesn't go in the Newsstand.
I really appreciate your help.
