    Crashes every time I attempt to import any type of file.

      On both the previous update and the most recent, every time I open prepiere pro cc and import a file, as soon as I click or drag the file in form another window " Adobe Premiere Pro CC has stopped working".

       

      Extra info

      • I am running Windows 8.1
      • The programme has worked in the past.
      • When I say past I mean the last time I used it was about 6 months ago and it worked then.
      • I am running Steam, Origin, Teamspeak 3 and Google Chrome in the background but have attempted without them running.
      • I have only tried to use it with 2 different version, the most current and the one before.

       

      Anyone have any ideas with what I can do or what is wrong or even if you are in the same boat as me so we can find a solution together.
