Is there no way to get the "maximize frame" command (tilde key) to work in a dual monitor setup? I, unlike many I guess, like to have one monitor devoted to my project window, bins, etc. and the other monitor for source, program, timeline.
But if I put any window on the second monitor I cannot use the maximize frame command, a command I find very useful when sifting through large bins, etc.; the command neither works via keyboard command nor via the drop down menu in the project panel.
Am I not clicking a button somewhere? Fiddling with the monitor buttons in the playback preferences pane does nothing.
2013 iMac as main monitor
dell hd computer monitor as second monitor connected via thunderbolt to dvi cable.
The command is actually maximize panel to fill the window, so the best way to go about it is to create a giant window and dock the bins.
