How to install Flash update if my compnay has restricted my access to local temp (install) folders?

I am employed at a state agency.  In an attempt to prevent virus installs, my managed McAfee prevents running any executable from any local temp folder.(permissions error)  If I select Save the installer rather than Run and try to run the executbale from an alternate folder, it goes to wait cursor for 2-3 seconds and no further activity. Any ideas for work-around? Manual installer available?
