Animate Warp Stabilizer Smoothness to Match Clips?

    soloalpinist Community Member

I'm in Premiere CS6. I've had to cut up a long clip and apply Warp Stabilizer to the individual, smaller clips.... which causes a slight jump between them.

Does anyone know of a way to animate/keyframe the effect at the end of each clip so as to match them? Or a technique to hide it?

Thanks in advance for any any suggestions

Since warp stabilizer in After Effects is more robust there may be a way to do it there, but in Premiere, I'm not sure. I've tried this and it's not easy and never totally comes out like I'd hoped. The best I can do is set all the clips to scale the same percentage and then use the motion settings to move the clips around to sort of align the end of one clip with the beginning of another. Never is perfect, but I've got it pretty close on occasion. There may be other ways, but none that I know of and we use warp stabilizer a LOT. Good luck.
