Flash Problems

Cant view flash video; when I download says I have latest version; adobe says I dont have flash installed when it checks latest version; I have windows 8; also cs5 and other adobe software

Flash Player for Internet Explorer in WIndows 8 is modified and embedded by Microsoft. It can't be updated or reinstalled from here. A large number of people (including myself) have seen either a "no browser" or a "Mozilla" indication with IE 11 and Windows 8.1 on the Flash test page.
I was able to make it work properly by enabling "Compatibility VIew" in IE11.
