Failure to download flashplayer

When I try to install flashplayer on my computer I get a message saying 'Download cannot continue, torn off Internet Explorer'  I only use internet explorer so when I turn it off I loose ny internet connection to Flashplayer so close the whole operation.  How can I overcome this problem.  I am using Windows 7 64 bit. OS

Download the following files by right clicking and selecting "Save target as".

Flash Player Uninstaller

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Save ALL files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT RUN anything yet.

Reboot your system.

BEFORE opening anything else, go to your Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLER to remove all instances of Flash Player.

Next, run the ActiveX Installer.

Once everything is installed, see:Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer  and: ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer  to make 100% sure that Flash Player is enabled and NOT being blocked by ActiveX controls.
