Force PDF baggage file to open in Adobe Reader?

Hello, I develop WebHelp using RH10 and have noticed that in my published output, linked PDF baggage files launch in the users' browser window rather than in Adobe Reader. Is this something I can control?

This seems to be the case no matter how I set the options in the Hyperlink Properties dialog (Page Default, New Window. etc).

Thanks,

Mike

Hi there

It's always been my understanding that you have no control over how PDFs open. Instead, it's up to the end user and the preferences they have configured for how their own Windows will present the file.

Cheers... Rick
