Flash says that it has successfully installed, but when I check on the Adobe site,it says no Flash is installed or enabled.

What is your operating system? (Windows or Mac) (XP, Vista, 7, 8)
What browser do you use? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari)

thanks. I have Windows 7, IE 10. I already tried the help options listed on the website (enabling scripting, etc).

i'm not seeing the icon for a compatability issue in the address bar, therefore they say there is no reason to use that feature.

Method 1:
Click on Internet explorer in the desktop, and
a) Click ALT key and click on tools,
b) Click on compatibility view setting.
c) And clicks check the box; display all the websites in compatibility view

Method 3:
If issue persists try resetting Internet Explorer's settings and check. Follow the steps:
a. Press Windows logo key + R.
b. Type inetcpl.cpl in Run Window and press enter.
c. Click the Advanced tab.
d. Click Reset and click apply and ok.
Note: The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might reset security settings or privacy settings that you added to the list of Trusted Sites. The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature.
