1. Re: I have created a pdf form, but need to send the link to complete- how do I do this?
Josh_Corey Nov 22, 2013 3:19 PM (in response to Roswell Mango)Hi;
Are you using FormsCentral or is this a general PDF form question?
Related to FormsCentral for the "Import PDF" feature there is no link to the PDF, it does not create an online form. Importing into FormsCentral allows you to save/download a new version of the PDF form with a Submit button added that will submit the data back to FormsCentral for you to analyze on the "View Responses" and "Summary Report" tabs. You can distribute the PDF any way you like, email, post on a web site for download, share via Dropbox or other file sharing etc, but it does not include a URL and you should not post the PDF embedded in a web page or to be opened in a web browser, the PDF should be filled out on a users desktop or mobile device using Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat.
FormsCentral authored forms can be distributed as either or both a web form and a PDF form, but the "link to PDF" still applies from above, you would email, share using file sharing, or post the PDF for users to download and fill out in Adobe Reader or Acrobat.
Thanks,
Josh

Josh_Corey Nov 22, 2013 3:27 PM (in response to Roswell Mango)A PDF cannot be converted into an online FormsCentral form - but you can import an existing fillable PDF form into FormsCentral to collect responses using FormsCentral.
Here are some FAQ's on Import PDF:

Josh_Corey Nov 22, 2013 3:38 PM (in response to Roswell Mango)Let's try in the this thread further - what is the question you have? Can you describe the workflow in a little more detail and let me know where FormsCentral is involved and what your goal is - are you looking to have a PDF that you have able to be filled out online? Do you have a Free or Paid level FormsCentral account?
Thanks,
Josh
