What that refers to is Adobe Primetime and Adobe Media Server technology. http://www.adobe.com/products/adobe-media-server-family.html  for DELIVERING the content. It's not Flash Player, per se, although support for it is now included in Flash Player, but you cannot embed the player in a web page. You embed the content, and the Player resides on the end user's device.  Primetime HLS allows embedding content that would normally require Flash Player, to play on devices that don't support Flash Player, such as smartphones and tablets like iPads.
