1. Re: How would a client edit a muse created site, without using Muse?
techgal4u Nov 26, 2013 3:05 PM (in response to JakN62)Hi Jack,
I just spent an hour looking for that answer in the forum. The answer would seem to be no. If you integrate Muse with Business Catalyst, then it seems your customer could edit, but he has to be a customer of BC.
This is definitely NOT what a CMS like Joomla is about. I wish Muse would be that flexible, but I cannot find any evidence that it is. I would use rockettheme.com templates (membership required) paired with Joomla (free) if your customer needs to edit their own content. Lots of proven widgets for Joomla. And security updates. And SEO. And responsive templates for desktop and mobile. And... you get the picture.I have a Creative Cloud membership and I love the products I use from it, but so far, Muse is not going to replace Joomla for my clients.

Brad Lawryk Nov 26, 2013 3:09 PM (in response to JakN62)Hey Jack,
Have you looked into the In Browser Editing yet? (Assuming you are hosting with business Catalyst?)
If the In Browser Editing isn't enough then you can upgrade to a higher plan and with a bit of BC knowledge give your client more control so it is more along the lines of what they are used to.
It all depends on the content that needs to be edited.

Not true at all. You can set them up as a user within the admin for that site. They do not need to even have an Adobe ID.

4. Re: How would a client edit a muse created site, without using Muse?
JakN62 Nov 26, 2013 4:05 PM (in response to techgal4u)The website is: www.bapuk.org.uk - it's the first website I've ever created and I'm quite proud of it. Pretty good knick considering it's the first site I've ever created, I reckon.
It's already been created in Muse and I just don't know what to do. I will change the hosting to business catalyst if that is going to be my best option.
As for the client performing in-browser editing.. Can they edit every last aspect or is it only text?
Could they change photos and states of photos etc?
Thanks,
Jack
