Hi,
Is it possible to create a hyperlink to a file that is in a folder in the resources folder ?
resources
folder1
index.htm
I'm trying to link my adobe presentation together right now I can do it by using :
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh"
CONTENT="1;URL=folder1/index.htm">
But when I burn my project on a CD, it doesn't work anymore, it pop a page and then close it very fast.
Any idea ?
Thanks,
Caroline

Hi Caroline,
Not sure what are you trying to achieve.
So few questions for you .
1. Are you placing this index.htm manually in th efolder.
2. Is this a simple web content or a link to some Presenter output ?
3. Where do you want to open the link from ?
4. Could could package your presentation and share it with me so that I may be in a position to help you better.
Inbox me at alpagarw@adobe.com

Hi Alpi,
I created 4 buttons in a Adobe Presenter presentation that I want to link to 4 other Adobe Presenter Presentations.
So I want to do is to be able to open each presentation from one page.
My problem is that they all have the same files name so I need to create 4 folders but when I put them in the resources folder, I can't find a way to link them, it's alway searching for index.htm directly in the resources folder, but I want it to look in a folder in the resources folder.
That's why I created four .htm files in the resources folder that redirected to those Adobe Presenter Presentations but when I burn my project on a DVD it doesn't work anymore because the command is block by internet explorer.
So I'm trying to find a way to link the 4 Adobe presentations...
I will send you the main page for you to understand but the rest of the project is really big since it has audio and video...
Thanks,
Caroline

Hi Caroline,
Instead of <META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="1; URL=Module1Audio/index.htm">
Please try using the following
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="1; URL=./Module1Audio/index.htm">
Probably you tried burning the CD and playing on some different machine.
The above URL will ensure that it is a relative path and you should not face this problem.
Let me know, if it worked.
Thanks
Alpi

Hi alpi,
Sorry, it didd't work, it's really explorer blocking it because it works with firefox... I think the only would be to find a way to create a link in a folder in the resources folder...
Thanks

Hi Caroline,
This is a bug in the presenter. Currently we cannot have a link inside a folder present in Resources.
But since this is working for firefox, you are not blocked I hope.
Thanks
